Annual Students Concert

The annual students' concert: Young violinists organised by the Lauw family on 27th November 2016. Familiar Suzuki violin repertoire were performed among many other ensemble pieces like Vivaldi's 4 violin concerto, Handel's Arrival of Queen Sheba and Singamelting pot.
Systematic Approach for Violinists Enrichment (SAVE)

Brought to Singapore for the first time by the creator of SAVE, Professor Lanku Chen, teacher Una participated in SAVE to further improve her own techniques, so to be able to guide her students to play the violin naturally, with ease.

Olympic Playoff 2016 (For Students)

In view of the Summer Olympic games in Rio, teacher Una organised a mini Olympic playoff for her violin students during a group lesson. The playoffs included sports such as hurdles and swimming. Thereafter, medals were presented to students who won the various events.
Suzuki Piano Training Vol. 2

Piano Trainer: Professor Arambulo
Professor Arambulo returned for the second time, following the 1st piano training session. A very effective and good piano trainer, students were very lucky to be able to learn from her.

6th Suzuki Conference

A first for Singapore to be officially represented by STEAS teachers and students. The conference was attended by Teacher Una and accompanied by 4 students. Inspired by the conference, All of the students attendees were very inspired to practice, perform, and attend the next conference.

STEAS invited Mr Nakamura, former appointed Suzuki Violin Teacher trainer, to Singapore and his son, Mr Masaki Nakamura for this event. Mr Nakamura, former Pan Pacific Suzuki Association President and present Chair of the ISA, had trained with Singapore Suzuki teachers(including Mr Lauw, Mrs Lauw and Una) from 1989 to 2004. He is the most important factor for the growth of Suzuki method in Singapore back then. We are very grateful for his mentorship and friendship.

Suzuki Piano Training Vol. 1

Professor Arambulo is one of the most experienced Suzuki piano trainer and tutored many outstanding students. He has also trained many Suzuki piano teachers. In hopes of understanding how Suzuki piano works, Teacher Una took up the challenge to undertake the Suzuki piano teachers training and was inspired by it.
